The Curtain Fig Motel is a heritage style motel, offering small child and pet friendly accommodation in a central location on the Gillies Highway in Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. We have been on a road trip along the Qld. Coast and this has been our best Motel stay. The difference is the owners live on site and Jane and Mark are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely home cooked meals, attention to details and a sweet little dog to welcome you.

While just relocating from inter state and waiting for a settlement on a property we have been extremely lucky to be able to stay for an extended period at the Curtain Fig motel. Jane, Mark (the owners) and the real boss Oscar the handsome dog accepted us and all our Pets. The room was excellent as well as the position within Yungaburra. Jane and Mark were always wanting to assist in anyway possible. We highly recommend this place and will always be grateful to them when it is so difficult to find accommodation accepting Pets. Very affordable motel, easy walk to the pub. The owners were helpful and friendly - scones for afternoon tea was a lovely surprise.

I had a two week stay at the Curtain Fig and it was just wonderful. I felt welcomed and looked after the entire time, and the owners went out of their way to help. Nothing was too much trouble. I will be returning here for any future trips to Yungaburra.

My partner and I stayed at the Curtin Fig Motel for an extended period of time after moving interstate and waiting to find a permanent rental. Mark and Jane were absolutely lovely and ensured we were comfortable and felt at home. A fabulous place that we highly recommend.
